Acquera Yachting will return to the Monaco Yacht Show from 23–26 September 2026 as the yacht services group continues an international expansion strategy that has taken its operational network to 25 countries.
The Monaco appearance comes during a significant period of development for the Venice-founded company, including further expansion in Turkey, the opening of an office in Malta and Acquera Group’s acquisition of specialist superyacht recruitment company Wilsonhalligan.
Together, the developments point towards a broader strategy: building an international yacht services network capable of supporting owners, captains, managers and vessels across multiple cruising regions while retaining local operational knowledge.
Monaco Yacht Show highlights Acquera Yachting’s international growth
Founded by Stefano Tositti in Venice in 2018, Acquera Yachting has expanded its footprint to 25 countries.
The latest additions include another directly operated office in Turkey, strengthening an existing operation in one of the Mediterranean’s important superyacht markets, alongside a new Malta office.
For yacht agency businesses, geographical coverage has become increasingly important as superyacht operations extend across multiple jurisdictions and cruising regions.
Owners, captains and yacht managers can require support covering port formalities, logistics and local operations across an itinerary rather than at a single destination.
Acquera’s expansion therefore reflects a wider move towards internationally connected service platforms that can combine centralised relationships with local knowledge.
“Monaco is one of those occasions where the entire yachting community comes together, and for us it is an invaluable opportunity to meet our clients and partners face to face, understand what they are looking for and exchange ideas about where the industry is heading,” said Caterina Oliviero, Chief Commercial Officer of Acquera Yachting.
Wilsonhalligan acquisition broadens Acquera Group’s capabilities
Alongside geographical expansion, Acquera Group is also broadening the range of services within the business.
A significant development has been its recent acquisition of Wilsonhalligan, an international recruitment specialist focused on the yachting sector.
Wilsonhalligan will continue operating under its existing management structure, led by Managing Director Liam Dobbin and Director Nicola Morgan. Both are expected to attend the Monaco Yacht Show.
The acquisition adds recruitment and crewing expertise to Acquera Group’s wider service portfolio and represents an interesting example of consolidation within the superyacht support sector.
As yachts become larger and operational requirements increasingly complex, service providers are looking beyond individual transactions towards longer-term relationships covering multiple aspects of yacht operation.
For Acquera, adding specialist recruitment capability creates another potential point of engagement with yacht owners, captains and management companies.
Local expertise remains central to international yacht agency model
Acquera says the objective of its expansion is not simply to increase the number of locations carrying its name.
Instead, the company is positioning local expertise and communication between its international teams as central to the model.
“As Acquera Yachting continues to grow internationally, one of our priorities is to make sure that this growth translates into real value for our clients,” Oliviero explained.
“This means having the right people, the right local knowledge and strong communication between our teams, wherever in the world they are operating. Our goal is simple: to make an international network feel as personal and close to the client as a local agency.”
That balance between scale and local knowledge is particularly important in yacht agency, where requirements can vary significantly between ports, countries and cruising grounds.
For owners and operators, an increasingly integrated international network could reduce the complexity of dealing with multiple service providers as yachts move between destinations.
Monaco connects Mediterranean and Caribbean operations
Acquera Group already maintains an operational presence in Monaco under the leadership of Alex Simonet, giving the company a permanent position within one of the industry’s most commercially important centres.
However, its 2026 Monaco Yacht Show delegation also demonstrates how the company is attempting to connect different regions within its network.
Ichel Moeslikan, Caribbean Operations Manager, and Anjulie Edwards, Antigua Operations Manager, will attend the show shortly before the beginning of the Caribbean yachting season.
Their presence creates an opportunity to meet yachts, captains and managers preparing to transition from Mediterranean cruising programmes towards the Caribbean.
“Being at the Monaco Yacht Show just a few weeks before the start of the Caribbean season is an additional opportunity for dialogue and networking aimed at strengthening communication among Acquera Yachting teams across different parts of the world,” said Moeslikan.
The timing is commercially relevant. Monaco Yacht Show falls at the point when many yachts, management companies and service businesses are preparing for the seasonal shift away from the Mediterranean.
Superyacht services market continues to evolve
Acquera’s development illustrates the growing commercial importance of the wider superyacht services economy.
While new yacht construction and brokerage tend to attract considerable attention, every operational yacht also supports demand for agency services, logistics, crew recruitment, management, maintenance, provisioning and specialist suppliers.
For shipyards and equipment manufacturers, the development of larger international support networks can also create more connected routes into the operational fleet.
For investors, meanwhile, specialist yacht services represent a different exposure to the superyacht sector from the more cyclical new-build market. Acquera Group’s combination of geographic expansion and acquisitions demonstrates how businesses within the sector are seeking scale through both organic growth and complementary capabilities.
What happens next for Acquera Yachting?
Monaco Yacht Show 2026 will provide Acquera with an opportunity to bring several parts of that strategy together.
The company will be meeting owners, captains, brokers, yacht managers and other industry partners while introducing its expanded international footprint and the capabilities added through Wilsonhalligan.
Attention will then move rapidly towards the Caribbean season, testing how effectively an international agency network can provide continuity as yachts transition between major cruising regions.
Further expansion could also provide an indication of which destinations Acquera considers strategically important as international superyacht cruising patterns continue to develop.
Boatbuilding News Analysis
Acquera Yachting’s growth to 25 countries, combined with new offices and the Wilsonhalligan acquisition, demonstrates how competition within the superyacht services sector is increasingly being driven by both geographic scale and breadth of capability. The interesting part of the strategy will be whether businesses can continue expanding internationally while retaining the local expertise and personal relationships that remain fundamental to yacht agency services.
